Celebración del DIA DE EUROPA en el Colegio (9/05/2014)

Cómo bien sabéis todos el día 9 de Mayo celebramos el DÍA DE EUROPA en el colegio. Para nosotros durante los último años se convierte en una celebración colegial y por parte de toda la comunidad educativa al completo por la relevancia que le damos a la dimensión y apertura europea en el colegio:

• Posibilidad de aprender cuatro lenguas (Castellano, Inglés, Francés y alemán)
• Los proyecto Europeos (Comenius años anteriores y dos proyectos e-twinning este año)
• Celebrating Together.
• Sharing Ideas, Writing Stories
• Importante relación del colegio con otros colegios europeos.
• Holy Trinity Pewley Down School (Guildford, Inglaterra)
• Zespół Szkolno-Przedszkolny nr 3 im. Jana Pawła II (Rybnick, Polonia)
• St Edward's School (Rochdale, Inglaterra)
• Y la estancia de alumnos europeos en nuestro colegio durante el curso gracias al PROYECTO LAZOS. 

En el colegio lo hacemos celebrando en este día el día de las lenguas por la importancia que creemos tiene y le damos al idioma como vehículo de comunicación, entendimiento y socilización en Europa.

Para celebrar este día los alumnos de segundo junto con Jenny, la profesora nativa, han preparado dos obras de teatro para celebrarlo y hacer disfrutar con ello a sus compañeros. Aquí os dejamos los vídeos finales para que podáis disfrutar todos con ellos.

20 de Noviembre: Día Mundial de los Derechos de los Niños

Today we celebrate that on the 20th of November 1959 the United Nations adopted THE DECLARATION OF THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD.

Yes!!!! You , as a child, have a declaration of rights, not only all the duties we say to you. THAT'S GREAT, isn't?

e-Twinning Task: For our e-Twinning celebration we have to choose one of them. With the one you have chosen you have to:

• We are going record a video in which you say the right. Maybe you can say, you can act it, etc....

Día Europeo de las Lenguas (e-Twinning project)

Hoy día 26 de Septiembre es el Día Europeo de las Lenguas 

Pero ¿qué es?

Según la página del Consejo Europeo:

¿Qué es el Día Europeo de las Lenguas?

¿QUÉ ES EL DÍA EUROPEO DE LAS LENGUAS?

El Año Europeo de las Lenguas 2001, organizado de manera conjunta por el Consejo de Europa y la Unión Europea, logró implicar a millones de personas en los 45 países participantes a través de actividades que celebraban la diversidad en Europa y promovían el aprendizaje de lenguas.

Los objetivos generales del Día Europeo de las Lenguas son:

1. Destacar la importancia del aprendizaje de lenguas y diversificar la variedad de lenguas que se aprenden con el objetivo de incrementar el plurilingüismo y la comunicación intercultural.
2. Promover la riqueza de la diversidad lingüística y cultural de Europa, que debemos preservar y potenciar.
3. Promover el aprendizaje permanente de lenguas tanto dentro como fuera de la escuela, ya sea con el propósito de realizar estudios, intercambios, por necesidades profesionales, movilidad o placer..

El 26 de Septiembre 2011 fue el X Aniversario del Día Europeo de las Lenguas (DEL), celebrado por el Consejo de Europa y sus 47 estados miembro.

Y ¿qué vamos a hacer nosotros para celebrarlo?

• Visualizar el siguiente mapa.

• Ver el listado de las 23 lenguas oficiales de la UE.  

• Este año vamos a contar con un proyecto e-Twinning (hermanamiento digital) que llevará por título: CELEBRATING TOGETHER. En el vamos a trabajar juntos un colegio de Polonia, uno de Inglaterra y nosotros. Pretendemos celebrar días internacionales juntos. El Día Europeo de las Lenguas es la primera.

• Para ello vamos a dibujar en algún folio alguna palabra que nosotros queramos mostrar a los otros colegios. La escribiremos en Castellano e Inglés, así cómo en una de las lenguas europeas que anteriormente os hemos presentado. 
• En el mismo folio colocaremos el idioma en el que hemos escrito la palabra para que se pueda verse a posteriori. 

• Cuando todos hayamos terminado los profes nos grabarán con dicha palabra.Cada uno sujetará la suya mientras se graba y bailaremos al son de la canción: "Wake me up" de Avicii.

• Por si hubiera más tiempo se pueden jugar a estos juegos:

EVALUATION OF ACTIVITY: "Doctor, I'm injured!"

This activity has been our last teamwork task. 

We usually made these kind of tasks to review units of English.

On the other hand, today we are going to change our manner of evaluation.

The teachers used to evaluate with rubrics your tasks.

Now we are getting used to evaluating in other way.

How is this way?

• We are going to have 100 points.
• 50 points will be used by the teachers. (Using the rubric)
• 24 will be used by self-evaluation. (Using the rubric, it is individually)
• 26 will be used by the teamwork. (Give out maximum 26 points to each member of the group)

You are going to create a paper as draft. You have to include:

• Your name and members of your group.
• Your self-evaluation with the rubric. (Maximum 24 points)
• Your teamwork's points. (Maximun 26 points)
