World Enviroment Day 5th June

Today we will start a new project but we are going to begin it thinking about our planet and the enviroment on the World Enviroment Day which we celebrate today. 

We are going to work on the following video using a thinking routine: I see, I think, I wonder

Let's try to explain yourself deeply, with your own words and feeling, thinking not only in the video but also in all the things it suggests to you. 

Once you have finish and before comment all your ideas and sharing with the whole class try to type it into the padlet and have a look about your partners ones. 

Now it would be great to have a look around yourselves, your daily life, your town, your school. Can you do it something to change these situations? How can you take care of the enviroment in your daily life?

We are going to use the cooperative learning technique: 1- 2- 4

• Dar visibilidad a todo el trabajo realizado por los alumnos. 
• Difundir buenas prácticas para con el medio ambiente.

Evaluación Proyecto: "La Contaminación" (5º Educación Primaria)

La semana del 16 al 21 de mayo trabajamos de una manera diferente a la que quizás no estabais acostumbrados:

• Eramos solo una clase 5º de EP, con diferentes profesores.
• Las asignaturas y los profesores se enlazaban para alcanzar el objetivo final.
• Hemos dejado los libros a un lado pero no los contenidos.
• La movilidad en nuestras aulas ha sido absoluta.

En el siguiente Storify te recordamos todo lo aquello que sucedió y cómo trabajaste durante el proyecto. 

A lo largo del proyecto hemos trabajado en diferentes equipos, es el momento de evaluar la forma de trabajar y los éxitos conseguidos cómo grupo de trabajo.

Lo haremos mediante el siguiente contrato de evaluación que será tenido en cuenta en las notas finales del proyecto de cada una de las asignaturas que han estado implicadas en mismo (Matemáticas, Lengua, Inglés, Francés, Música, Plástica, Ciencias Sociales y Ciencias Naturales).

Por otro lado queremos que evalúes el proyecto en sí, como forma de trabajar, nos gustaría saber tu opinión, los puntos positivos que has encontrado, los negativos, aquellas cosas que te han gustado o lo que consideras que debemos de mejorar. Recuerda que tu opinión es importante, tómate tu tiempo para hacerlo.  Recuerda pulsar en Enviar o Submit al finalizar. 

Tareas finales (Proyecto La Contaminación Year 5)

Llegando al final del proyecto de la Contaminación es necesario recapitular y recoger todos los productos finales generados. Os proponemos realizar un post en tu Portafolio Digital, en el mismo incluirás:

• La poesía.
• Una foto del eslogan.
• Gráfica sobre la encuesta y su interpretación.
• Línea del tiempo
• Curiosidades acerca del tratamiento de residuos. 
• Vídeo grabado con la canción: "Love Song to the Earth"
• Imagen de tu diseño de contenedor.
• Presentación clasificación de residuos en francés.
• Decálogo y vídeo realizado para promover buenas prácticas en el cuidado del medio ambiente.

Las etiquetas que utilizarás serán:

Pulsando sobre la siguiente imagen podrás ver un post que ya han diseñado tus profesores y que te ayudará mucho para ver la manera de estructurar toda la entrada que realices. 

Realiza una entrega a través de Edmodo del post final que has realizado. 

A la vez que realizamos este trabajo habrá un grupo de trabajo que vaya realizando el maquetado de nuestro díptico final. Para la maquetación y diseño vamos a utilizar la herramienta Piktochart.  (Accederemos con una cuenta común tu profesor te dará las claves de acceso).

Cada grupo propondrá un representante para formar parte de la comisión de diseño. La comisión de diseños estará formada por ocho alumnos los cuales se organizarán en cuatro parejas, cada una de ellas creará una Infografía, tipo póster que incluya los elementos detallados a continuación, dichas infografías serán las diferentes páginas del díptico:

• Infografía 1: Eslogan elegido entre la clase y explicación del proyecto. (Pueden incluirse algunas imágenes, recuerda siempre que sean libres de derechos o con licencia Creative Commons).

• Infografía 2:  Encuesta, incluyendo las preguntas realizadas, la gráfica obtenida y la interpretación de los datos. 

• Infografía 3: Poesía seleccionada, recordad hacer referencia al autor. Y el código QR que redirigirá al vídeo con la canción Love Song to the Earth. (Sería bueno  que se escriba un título al respecto y la recomendaciones para cómo realizar la captura: Pasos y app a utilizar).

• Infografía 4: Decálogo y la imagen que hará de Aura que conducirá al vídeo. (Sería bueno  que se escriba un título al respecto y la recomendaciones para cómo realizar la captura: Pasos y app a utilizar, canal que han de seguir para verlo).

Prototipos de papeleras para la recogida de residuos en el hogar

Con todos lo prototipos generados tras la tarea "Diseñando prototipos" del proyecto La contaminación, se propuso una primera votación mediante boli y papel. 

Tras la primera votación realizada estos son los cinco prototipos seleccionados y que votaremos por Edmodo. Recuerda que tu profesor te enviará un correo electrónico con el código del grupo de Edmodo en el que votar.

Recuerda que los criterios propuestos a la hora de plantear el concurso eran:

• Originalidad y creatividad.
• Usar elementos reciclados en su producción.
• Económico.
• Práctico y útil para tener en casa.
• Para cuatro tipo de residuos por lo menos.

Diseñando prototipos (Tarea Arts & Crafts) Proyecto Integrado 5ºEP

Aim of the moment 3: Diseñar un contenedor para reciclar desde la creatividad y el cuidado del medio ambiente en su fase de producción.

STEP 1: Let's organize your Arts & Craft block. In the sheet you need to divide it leaving 2 parts of it to draw the picture and 1 part of it two write about the product. 

STEP 2: Start with your prototype. You have 30 minutes for it. And it should follow the following ideas:

• It should be something to use  in the houses. 
• It should promote recycling at least (glass, paper, plastic and organic things)
• It shouldn't be very expensive.
• You should use as many recycled materials as you can. 
• It should be functional. 
• It should be creative and original.

STEP 3: In the other part you have to write about the materials you will use to produce it and the cost it will have in a shop.  Also a sentences to promote it (like a slogan). (You will have ten minutes)

When you finish use the Ipad to take a photo of your work (it will be very useful for you to upload into the final post in the portfolio)

STEP 4: Time for the contest. Take a paper with a number and place your worksheet with that number on it.  

Everybody will vote two of them, by written the two numbers in a paper and give it to the teacher. 

The five most voted will take part in the final contest through a voting using EDMODO.

Our eco-decalogue (Proyecto Integrado 5º EP)

STEP 1: Thinking Routine about a picture.

PICTURE TO THINK ABOUT

STEP 2: Answer the following questions in your groups.  

• Do only big factories pollute? 
• Do I pollute at home?
• How do I pollute in my daily life? 

Let's answer different ways you can pollute or you can observe around you. To answer these questions we are going to use a Cooperative Learning Technique:

The Recorder of the groups will read the final conclusions to the rest and the teacher will write them on the blackboard.

STEP 3: With the Cooperative Learning Technique: THINK – PAIR – SHARE the student will look for some actions to do in order to solve the problems the have discovered in the previous part. We need to finish with at least 10 different actions.

• THINK: Each member of the group think on possible actions. (1 minute)
• PAIR: The two pairs of the group will talk and look for common actions (2 minutes)
• SHARE: The four members of the group will talk and look for some actions the think are great (4 minutes) the recorder will write down on a paper.

With all of them we will create a final decalogue.

STEP 4: Each group of four will have an action of the ten to represent and record a short video using Touchcast with the minIpads. So the student will have to write a short script about what will be in the video and which photo will they use to record it.

The video should have three very short parts:

• A situation explaining a wrong action.
• A situation explaining a good action.
• The sentences from the decalogue.

For example:

We are at home eating the afternoon snack, when the boy finishes the juice throws it to the paper bin. The mum explains  he has to recycle it and he has to throw to the yellow bin. And then you say the sentences about the decalogue.

GRAMMAR TIPS:

• Remember to use the grammar about the present simple CB 145.

STEP 5: Recording the videos at the Image Lab.

STEP 6: Along these step the groups will have different task to do.

• One group will create the final video using all the videos of the groups. They can use WeVideo.
• Another group will create an Infography with the points of the decalogue. They can use Piktochart.
• Another group will create the aura (photo or picture) and learn how to work with Aurasma.
• Another four groups will create a Google SlideShow presentation, a very short one to explain kids from Year 1 and Year 2, good practices on the recycle topic. One group will divide themselves and each member will go to these four groups.
